An 82-year-old man reported missing from Smithfield on Sunday has been located safe and well, NSW Police say.
The man was reported missing to officers from Fairfield Local Area Command when he failed to return home after going for a walk about 4pm on 15 May 2016.
He was located by an off-duty emergency services worker on the Pacific Highway at Normanhurst about 1.40pm today.
The man was taken to Hornsby Police Station.
Police would like to thank members of the public and media for their assistance.
