A man reported missing from the Strathfield area has been located safe and well.
The 79-year-old man was last seen on Pitt Street, Sydney CBD, about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 16 June 2022).
When he did not return to his Strathfield home, he was reported missing to officers attached to Auburn Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the man was located in Circular Quay about 9.40am today (Friday 17 June 2022).
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
