Missing teenage boy at Taree

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenage boy in Taree.

Jack Yarnold, aged 16, was last seen leaving a home on Pitt Street, Taree, about 10pm on Saturday 27 February 2021.

Family members reported the teen missing the next morning (Sunday 28 February 2021), with officers attached to Manning-Great Lakes Police District commencing inquiries into Jack's whereabouts.

Police and family hold grave concerns for his welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm-165cm tall, with a thin build and light brown medium-length hair.

He was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, dark shorts and no shoes.

He is known to frequent the Taree, Forster and Gloucester areas.

Anyone who may have seen or heard from Jack or who may know his whereabouts is urged to contact police.
