Missing teenage boy, Macleay Island

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a 13-year-old boy missing from Macleay Island.

The boy (pictured) was last seen at approximately 7.30pm on Thursday March 9 at a Kate Street address, and it is believed he has left the address on foot with a backpack.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as he has not made contact with anyone since and due to his young age.

He is described as Filipino in appearance, approximately 150cm tall with a slight build, black hair and brown eyes.

Police believe he may be in the Redlands area including Redland Bay, Victoria Point, Thornlands or Lower Bay Island.

The boy, or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
