Missing teenage girl, Deception Bay

Police are seeking public assistance to help locate a 13-year-old girl reported missing from the Deception Bay area earlier today.

The girl was last seen at 12.30pm today (May 2) at the waterfront of Captain Cook Parade.

She has not been seen since.

Police and family are concerned for the girl's welfare as this behaviour is out of character.

The girl, pictured below, is described as Pacific Islander, 155cm tall with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the girl's whereabouts is urged to contact police.
