Missing woman and child, Ashmore

Police are appealing to the public for assistance to help locate a woman and child, reported missing from Ashmore yesterday morning.

The 1-year-old girl and 28-year-old woman were last seen at a Yarran Drive address around 11.00pm on Sunday, September 23.

Investigations indicate that the pair left the address around 3am on Monday, September 24, in a silver Honda Civic bearing Queensland registration plates “499 KLM”.

Police hold concerns for the pair’s welfare as the woman suffers from a medical condition. She is known to frequent the Ipswich and Redbank Plains areas.

The woman is described as Caucasian, with a fair complexion, around 165cm tall, proportionate build and long brown hair. She has a piercing on the right side of her face and a large tattoo on the back of her right calf.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of this woman, or the girl, are urged to come forward.
