A body has been recovered following the search for a woman missing in the Illawarra region.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District have been conducting inquiries to locate a missing 24-year-old woman.
A vehicle was found parked near bushland on Otford Road, Helensburgh about 3pm yesterday (Tuesday 13 October 2020), and following a search of the area, with the assistance SES and RFS, the body of a woman was found about 7.30pm.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
