A woman missing from Taree has been located safe and well.
The 86-year-old was last seen on York Street, Taree, about 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 11 December 2023).
When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers from Manning Great Lakes Police District were notified and commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries and an appeal for assistance, the woman was located at Harrington a short time ago (Tuesday 12 December 2023).
She is being checked by NSW Ambulance paramedics as a precaution.
