Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Patricia Winthrop.
The 46-year-old Hamilton woman was last seen about 12pm today at the Lacocoon Rose Hotel on Napier Street, St Arnaud.
Police and family members hold concerns for Patricia's welfare and have released an image in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her whereabouts.
Patricia is described as about 180cm tall with a medium build, light-brown shoulder-length hair and blue-grey eyes.
She is believed to be travelling in a silver Ford Territory with registration ILT 6WF.
Patricia is known to frequent the Ballarat and Hamilton areas.
Anyone with information or who knows of Patricia's whereabouts is urged to contact Ararat Police Station on 5355 1500.
