Mitchell Shire is proud to celebrate the 2025 Victorian Seniors Festival this October, embracing this year's theme: Connect, Create and Celebrate. It's a time to honour the wisdom, creativity and community spirit of our older residents through a vibrant program of free events.
Seniors concert
Our annual concert returns to Broadford Hall on Tuesday 28 October, featuring Get Rhythm, a lively tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter. Seniors are invited to enjoy the music, share stories, and celebrate together in style.
Morning Melodies
Morning Melodies will bring even more joy, with singalongs and dancing led by Horizon Duo and the Broadford Ukulele Group. All events are free for seniors, but bookings are essential.
Free public transport
Victorian Seniors Card holders can also enjoy eight days of free public transport across the state from 5 to 12 October, making it easier to connect with friends and explore new places.
