Mobile phones stolen from Prospect, South Australia

Police are investigating the theft of mobile phones from a shop at Prospect today.

About 1.20pm today (Friday 27 May), police were called to a shopping centre on Main North Road after a teenage male had jumped the front counter of the supermarket and stole 10 mobile phones from a display.

He then gave some of them to a female accomplice who then ran away from the store with another female youth.

The male threatened staff but did not produce a weapon.

The trio were last seen running on to Regency Road.

The male suspect was wearing black clothing, while the females were wearing a light-coloured top and shorts, while the other was wearing jeans.
