Wentworth Shire Council advises residents that a Services Australia Mobile Service Centre (MSC) will be visiting Wentworth on Friday, 20 February 2026.

These centres travel extensively throughout rural and regional Australia to ensure communities can easily access government payments and services without needing to travel great distances.
Services Offered: Friendly staff will be available to provide information and support regarding:
- Centrelink & Medicare: Assistance with new claims, updating customer information, and non-cash Medicare transactions.
- Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA): Helping veterans and their families connect with DVA phone and online services.
- myGov: Staff can help you create a myGov account, which is a simple and secure way to access government services online.
- Specialised Support: Information on rural payment entitlements for farmers and access to social work support.

The service aims to assist all community members, including families, older Australians, students, job seekers, people with disability, carers, farmers, and self-employed people.
