New works have begun on upgrades at Moe's premier cricket and football venue, supported through the Victorian Government's Regional Sports Infrastructure Program.
Upgrades at Ted Summerton Reserve include redevelopment of the oval surface, including the cricket wickets, lighting, scoreboard and sight screen, accessibility improvements across the reserve, plus new changerooms, refurbishment of the existing pavilion and new undercover terracing.
Home to the Moe Football Netball Club, Moe Cricket Club, Cricket Latrobe Valley, the Moe Fire Brigade and the Gippsland Regional Cricket Centre, Ted Summerton Reserve has hosted pre-season AFL and AFLW matches and Big Bash League cricket.
These upgrades will help increase sports participation and improve the region's capacity to host events, supporting local businesses and creating employment opportunities during the project's delivery.
The upgrades are expected to be completed in late August 2026.
