Moira Jobs And Careers Expo To Unlock New Opportunity

Are you ready to unlock your potential? The Moira Jobs and Careers Expo is your gateway to exciting new opportunities!

Whether you're job hunting, changing careers, or just starting out, this event in Cobram on Thursday 19 June is designed for you.

Designed to support job seekers, students, and career changers, the Expo will bring together around 50 exhibitors under one roof, including local employers, training providers, and community organisations.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore real job openings, discover career pathways, and gain practical advice to help them take the next step in their employment journey. Employers will showcase their organisations with the aim to connect with future talent that will help build a stronger local workforce.

The event is being organised by Moira Shire Council, in partnership with Berrigan Shire Council and Workforce Australia.

Moira Shire Council Chair Administrator Dr Graeme Emonson PSM said this was a great opportunity to be a part of a unique event that would strengthen our region's skills, jobs, and future opportunities.

"Participating in the Moira Jobs and Careers Expo is not just about finding a job; it's about joining a meaningful event that enhances our region's skills. We believe that by connecting job seekers with local employers, we can foster growth and create a vibrant community where everyone has the chance to thrive," Dr Emonson said.

"We've received tremendous support from our local businesses and industries, and we sincerely thank them for partnering with us to make this event possible."
