Molong Water Quality Update
All water from the Molong Water Treatment Plant is filtered and chlorinated to ensure it is safe for consumption. Water is tested before leaving the plant, and sampling continues at reservoirs and throughout the network.
Due to increased summer demand, production at the plant has been boosted. This can cause some discolouration, which Council is managing by cleaning filters more often and flushing water mains. Additional testing is also underway.
Molong Creek Dam is currently full, but not overflowing.
