Police are investigating an arson at Whyalla in the early hours of this morning.
Police and fire crews were called to Hambidge Terrace, Whyalla just after 1am on Monday 4 May by reports of a car on fire in the driveway of a home.
The silver Ford sedan was engulfed in flames, however the owner managed to extinguish the fire with a garden hose.
CCTV showed a suspect throwing a Molotov cocktail at the car, then running off south down Raws Street, towards the cemetery.
Crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene.
