Monuments Vandalised At Flagstaff Gardens

Police are investigating after two monuments at Flagstaff Gardens were damaged in West Melbourne this morning.

It is believed machinery was used to pull down the Pioneer monument which was then vandalised about 5am on Thursday 22 January.

The nearby Separation Memorial was also defaced with red paint.

A crime scene has been established and the investigation is ongoing.
