Get ready for a Brit Popfest at the Pilbeam Theatre's August Morning Melodies when renowned UK singer Craig Martin takes audiences on a fab journey through The Great British Songbook.
The show is packed with classic hits from many of the biggest selling British bands of all time such as The Beatles, Queen, The Kinks, The Animals, Herman's Hermits and Gerry and the Pacemakers.
Audiences will also be treated to unforgettable songs from some of the greatest solo singers from the British music scene: Tom Jones, Cliff Richard, Cilla Black, Engelbert Humperdinck, Matt Monro and the very best British singer/songwriters including Elton John, Rod Stewart, Van Morrison, Cat Stevens and Leo Sayer to name a few.
The Great British Songbook features over 20 hit songs from the 60's through to the 90's including Waterloo Sunset, Hey Jude, Your Song, Living Doll, I'm Into Something Good, It's Not Unusual and You'll Never Walk Alone,
It is a nostalgic musical trip down memory lane and a tribute to the many great British artists who have earned their place in The Great British Songbook.
The show will be held at the Pilbeam Theatre on Monday 25 August at 11am. A free morning tea will be available before the show, from 10am.
