Yawa Aquatic Centre received two awards at the 2023 Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (ARV)Industry Awards. Held on 23 June at Centrepiece, Melbourne Park, Yawa received recognition in the following areas:
- Marketing & Communications Award: Yawa Aquatic Centre
- Nutrition & Healthy Eating: Elements Eatery at Yawa Aquatic Centre
In July 2023, Yawa swim teacher, Dianne Whitelaw won theNational Swim Teacher of the Year Award for Adults at the Austswim Awards.
Pelican Park Recreation Centre also took home an award at the ARV Industry Awards, for Facility of the Year – Medium.
