Mornington Police Seize $2M Cannabis Plants

Acting on a community tip-off, Mornington Divisional Response Unit (DRU) detectives have today seized 1,500 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $2.5 million.

Police swooped on a commercial property in Keppler Court, Seaford at about 8am this morning, uncovering a sophisticated hydroponic set up where they seized the cannabis plants.

During the warrant police seized:

- 1,500 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $2.5 million.

- Several electrical goods including mobile phones and laptops.

No arrests have been made at this time and investigation remains on-going.
