Mornington servicing to continue

Staff and services from the Mornington Service Centre will relocate to Frankston and Rosebud Service Centres from Monday 30 March this year. Mornington customers will be able to access supported services locally through an Agent service.

Services Australia General Manager Hank Jongen said the change is in response to a significant reduction in customers visiting the service centre.

'We regularly review our face-to-face services to ensure service delivery is sufficient to meet community needs,' Mr Jongen said.

'What we're seeing is people increasingly using different channels to connect with the agency and access services, with the availability and convenience of mobile apps and online facilities.

'Customers from the Mornington area can continue to access the Frankston and Rosebud Service Centres.

'It's important for our Mornington customers to know that existing services will be available through alternative telephone, online, mobile and paper service delivery channels with the support of the Agent service.'

The Services Australia Agent service in Mornington will initially be provided from 30 March 2020 to 30 June 2020.

Expressions of Interest for the service will be advertised locally over the coming week, remaining open for 10 business days.

The Frankston and Rosebud Service Centres are open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
