Morphett Vale hotel robbery, South Australia

Police are investigating after a man entered a hotel on Main South Road and stole a cash register.

About 9.20pm on Wednesday 30 June, Southern District patrols were called to the hotel after a man entered, produced a knife and stole the cash register.

He was last seen on foot heading east on the bike track near Timothy Road.

Police patrols were called shortly after the incident, but the offender wasn't located.

The suspect is described as being of thin build and about 178cm tall. He was wearing a black 'Adidas' hooded jacket with white sleeves and black stripes down the arm, dark grey coloured jeans and white sneakers.

Fortunately no one was physically injured as a result of the incident.
