Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says he's pleased Scott Morrison and the Coalition won last weekend's federal election, despite the fact that the win meant the Australian Conservatives' vote suffered as a consequence.
Senator Bernardi told Paul Murray Live on Sky News despite all the commentators predicting a Labor victory and the left-wing media beating up Labor's policies and prospects, Australia was the real winner last Saturday.
