Police have charged four teenage boys following several property and vehicle offences in the South Burnett, as Operation Yankee Forge wraps up its first ten days of action across the Darling Downs District.
Between 28 February to 9 March, 26 people have been charged with 44 offences in relation to robbery, enter with intent, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary offences across the district.
Police will allege around 1.50am on 3 March two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy broke into a McKenzie Street property in Wondai stealing a 2024 Mazda BT-50, the vehicle was recovered in Cherbourg.
Around 2pm on 3 March, a 14-year-boy broke into a shop on McKenzie Street in Wondai stealing a cash register. He is also alleged to have been involved in the theft of fuel from a service station in Slacks Creek on February 17.
On 5 March, a 15-year-old boy is alleged to have been involved in the break and enter of a Hayley Street address where a 2013 Holden Calais and a 2025 Ford Ranger was stolen. Both vehicles were later recovered in Cherbourg.
Around 2.00am on 5 March a 15-year-old broke into a Coral Street address in Kingaroy, however he was interrupted by a resident and left the scene.
Then around 2.10am it is alleged a 15-year-old boy attempted to break into a Bridgeman Parade property before leaving the scene.
A 15-year-old Cherbourg boy has been charged with one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling and commit and three counts of breach of bail condition.
He has been remanded in custody to attend Kingaroy Childrens Court on 16 March.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in Kingaroy Childrens Court on 16 March.
