A Ducati motorcycle was caught allegedly travelling at double the speed limit at East Warburton yesterday.
State Highway Patrol motorcycle officers clocked the motorcycle travelling at 160km/h on Woods Points Road in an 80km zone about 1pm.
The male rider, aged in his 40s, had his motorcycle immediately impounded for 30 days.
The Healesville man is expected to be charged on summons with exceed speed and other traffic related offences.
