Motorcycle rider dies in crash - St Marys

An investigation is underway after a motorcyclist died in a crash in Sydney's west overnight.

About 2.45am (Saturday 17 July 2021), emergency services were called to Mamre Road, St Marys, near Hall Street, following reports of a motorcycle crash.

The rider, a man believed to be aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, however, he died at the scene.

A crime scene was established and an investigation commenced by officers from Nepean Police Area Command.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
