Motorcycle theft on Queen Street

Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit Detectives are investigating the theft of two motorbikes from Melbourne on July 18.

It's understood the two motorbikes, believed to be a Harley Davidson and a scooter, were stolen from a Queen Street address about 1.10am.

Three males were observed picking up the motorbikes and loading them into the back of a trailer, attached to a silver Ford Territory.

The vehicle was last seen driving west along Flinders Lane.

The motorbikes have not been reported stolen and police are urging the owners of the bikes to come forward.

Investigators have released images of the Ford Territory in the hope someone may recognise it.

Any witnesses or anyone that may have seen any suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
