Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a fatal motorcycle crash in Parkdale this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Nepean Highway near the Warrigal Road intersection about 3.20am following reports a motorcyclist had crashed into a residential fence.
A male, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
Police are working to establish whether a second person was on board the motorcycle at the time and possibly fled the scene prior to police arrival.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
