Motorcyclist dies after single-vehicle crash near Goulburn

A motorcyclist has died following a single-vehicle crash in the state's south today.

About 5.15pm (Friday 10 January 2020), emergency services were called to an embankment off Crookwell Road at Pejar, about 40km north-west of Goulburn, following reports a motorcycle had crashed and rolled.

On arrival, officers from The Hume Police District located the rider, a 56-year-old man, deceased.

Officers established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
