A motorcyclist has died following a crash at Cessnock today, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Subiaco Avenue just after 3pm (Saturday 11 November 2017), after a motorcycle left the road and crashed into a fence.
The rider, a 21-year-old man, was taken to John Hunter Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police from Central Hunter Local Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
