A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Prestons today.
About 6.10am (Friday 21 August 2020), emergency services were called to the corner of Progress Circuit and Lyn Parade following reports that a car and motorcycle had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics performed CPR on the male motorcycle rider, however he died at the scene.
The driver of the car has been taken for mandatory testing.
Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Road closures are in place at Lyn Parade and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
