A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a ute in Sydney's west.
Emergency services were called to Richmond Road at Marsden Park about 3.30pm (Saturday 18 October 2025), after an eastbound motorcycle and a westbound red Ford Ranger collided in the eastbound lane.
The motorcyclist, believed to be a man aged in his 30s, died at the scene despite efforts to assist by passing drivers.
The alleged driver of the ute – reported to be a woman wearing white jeans, a blue singlet top and with a shaved head – left the scene and a search is now underway by officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command assisted by the Police Dog Unit and PolAir.
Richmond Road is currently closed in both directions between Elara Boulevard and St Marys Road.
Transport Management Centre advice: Motorists can divert using Garfield Road West, Windsor Road, Macquarie Street and George Street in both directions.
This diversion is suitable for all vehicles up to 26m B-Doubles.
Motorists should also allow extra travel time in the area and follow the directions of emergency services on site.
Due to the nature of the crash, there is currently no forecast of when the road will reopen.
