Police are currently on scene of a fatal crash that has claimed the life of a motorcyclist at Taradale this morning, Victoria Police say.
It is believed the motorcycle was travelling south along the Calder Highway when it hit a kangaroo just before 9.30am.
The male rider aged 60, from Lockwood South, was thrown from his bike and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
