Police are currently on scene of a fatal collision that has claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Moonee Ponds tonight, Victoria Police say.
Police have been told the motorcycle was travelling south along Mount Alexander Road near Addison Street about 9pm.
It is believed a silver Toyota was traveling north on Mount Alexander Road when it collided with the motorcycle.
The male rider, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver and passenger in the sedan, both Roxburgh Park men in their 30’s, where uninjured.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have observed the movements of the red Honda motorcycle or silver Toyota sedan prior to the crash to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
