Mount Cottrell Collision Turns Fatal

Melton Highway Patrol officers continue to investigate a collision in Mount Cottrell last week that has since turned fatal.

It is believed a motorcycle and a truck collided in the intersection of Boundary and David roads just after 8am on 2 May.

The rider, a 39-year-old Wyndham Vale woman, was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition where she sadly died on 5 May.

The truck driver, a 33-year-old Tarneit man, was not injured and remained at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
