Mount Waverley Man Wins $1.25M Lotto, Starts Anew

A man from Mount Waverley is ready to start a new chapter and move from his home of four decades after landing a marvellous $1.25 million win in the weekend's TattsLotto draw.

The Melburnian held one of the eight division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4623, drawn Saturday 8 November 2025. He looks forward to $1.25 million.

When we called the gleeful winner, he was still buzzing with excitement.

"Thank you very much!" he said.

"I input my numbers through on my computer and that's when I saw $1.25 million come up on the screen. I couldn't believe it!

"I've been waiting a long time. I've played TattsLotto for many decades!

"I've been living in the same place for about 40 years, and I think I'm ready for a change.

"I was going to get on the tools and renovate the house, but this prize means I won't have to!

"Thank you very much."

His winning 10-game System 7 QuickPick was purchased at Pinewood Authorised Newsagency, Pinewood Shopping Centre, 59 Centreway, Mount Waverley.
