Multiple robberies, Brisbane South

Detectives investigating a series of robberies on Brisbane’s South over the past month are appealing for public assistance with the matter, Queensland Police say.

Police believe 32-year-old Isitolo Paseka (pictured) may be able to assist with enquiries in relation to these incidents.

In the first incident on February 13, around 8:30pm, a man entered a medical centre and chemist store on Blunder Road at Oxley.

The man approached a staff member and asked for change before snatching cash from the till and fleeing the store on foot.

In the second incident, two men entered a licensed premises on the corner of Beaudesert Road and Hansen Street at around 11:20pm on February 17.

The men, armed with knives, demanded cash from an employee before fleeing the scene with a sum of cash.

A 28-year-old Inala man has subsequently been charged with armed robbery.

In the third incident at around 8pm on February 23, a man armed with a knife entered a store on Blunder Road at Oxley.

The man approached a staff member at the counter, demanded cash and produced a knife.

The man grabbed a quantity of cash from the register and left the store with the money.

The man is described as Pacific Islander in appearance, approximately 170cm tall, with a muscular build and black hair.

Anyone who may have seen the man or has any information in relation to his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
