Murray Bridge newsagency robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at a Murray Bridge newsagency this afternoon (14 November).

About 5.15pm on Thursday 14 November, a man entered a newsagency on Swanport Road armed with a machete. He threatened a staff member and stole an amount of cash. He was last seen running east on Robe Street.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Crime scene investigators and detectives attended the scene.

The male suspect is described as about 175cm tall, slim build, wearing a grey hooded jumper with a black circle motif on the front, black tracksuit pants, blue sneakers, black gloves, dark sunglasses and a scarf covering his face.
