Music Festival Brings Good Vibes To Templestowe

Manningham Council

A new micro music festival is coming to Templestowe Village this February, bringing local talent and live music as part of Live and Local and Summer Celebration.

Live and Local is designed to celebrate, develop and support our local musicians, bands and businesses.

The Village Vibes micro festival will take place across multiple venues in Templestowe Village on Saturday 21 February from 11:00am to 8:30pm.

The micro festival will feature diverse acts across multiple venues including Carla Troiano, Blushko, Danny Ross, Alyssa Drago, Anthony Vartuli, Grace Forster, and more.

Village Vibes is the second micro music festival in Manningham thanks to the Live and Local Program. In October, the Yarra Sounds micro festival in Warrandyte saw Yarra Street filled with live music across 5 venues.

This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate, develop and grow our local live music scene.

The Live and Local Program in Manningham has already offered professional development workshops along with performance and networking opportunities for local musicians.

Live and Local is delivered by Manningham Council in partnership with the Live Music Office, APRA AMCOS, One Music and supported by the Australian Government through Music Australia. Live and Local is designed to celebrate, develop and support our local musicians, bands and businesses through policy and strategy development.
