My Clarence Valley Announced As Finalist In NSW Tourism Awards

NSW Tourism Association has announced the finalists for the NSW Tourism Awards 2025, and Clarence Valley Council's tourism team My Clarence Valley is proud to be recognised. It was a record year for nominations with over 230 from across the state; with 125 finalists across 30 categories.

My Clarence Valley has been named a finalist for its forward-thinking approach to economic growth and sustainable destination marketing.

Congratulated on their improvements to visitor information services, the success of the Clarence Valley Visitor Guide and the ongoing commitments to achieving eco certification, this announcement follows their GOLD win at the North Coast awards earlier this year.

In a message on their social media, the My Clarence Valley team thanked local businesses who have collaborated on making My Clarence Valley what it is today.

"We would like to congratulate the local businesses who work with us to deliver collaborative Visitor Information Services, the Visitor Information Guide and our ongoing commitment to becoming an Eco Certified Destination.

Your dedication and support for our region's visitor economy are worthy of this statewide recognition!"

Clarence Valley Council's General Manager, Laura Black, praised the staff and also congratulated the local businesses named as finalists at the awards.

"Well done to the hard-working staff who make up the My Clarence Valley team. It's great to see the work that has gone into the Destination Management Plan get recognised and how we maximise the advantages that tourism brings while balancing the impact on local residents.

"Congratulations to the Harwood Hotel and the Grafton Jacaranda Festival, who are also representing the Clarence Valley as finalists in their categories.
