We are proud to celebrate the culture, achievements and history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people during NAIDOC Week 2020 (8-15 November).
The 2020 National NAIDOC Week theme - Always Was. Always Will Be. - recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. We pay respect to the traditional owners of the land on which we play our beloved sport.
We recently talked to Indigenous footballer, James Brown, on his experiences as a player; his indigenous heroes and what NAIDOC Week's 2020 theme - 'Always Was. Always Will be.' - means to him.
