NAIDOC Week activities postponed

Due to the Public Health Order from the NSW Government, Kempsey NAIDOC Committee are unfortunately having to postpone most of the schedule NAIDOC Week events to ensure our community remains safe. The events will now take place between Saturday 18 and Saturday 25 September 2021.

The Kinchela Boys Home Aboriginal Corporation event 'Our Journey to Now' will be going ahead as planned on Tuesday 6thJuly at Kempsey Showground between 1-4pm.

A program handbook will be made available with the confirmed rescheduled event details.

The new dates for the remaining events are as follows:

Saturday 18th September

South West Rocks NAIDOC Cultural Day

10am-1pm

Sunday 19th September

Bellbrook Community Day (TBC)

10.30am-2.30pm

Monday 20th September

Kempsey NAIDOC March

10am-11am

Kempsey Flag Raising & NAIDOC Community BBQ

11am – 1pm

AES & Optus Outdoor Movie Night and BBQ

5 – 8pm approx.

Tuesday 21st September

Kids Culture Bush Day

9am-2pm

Thursday 23rd September

Kids Culture at the Sea

9am-2pm

Elders Barefoot Bowls

10am-2pm

Friday 24th September

Kempsey Toyota Mens Golf Day

8.20am-3.30pm

Kids Disco

5-8pm

Ready Mob Netball Sports Day (over 40s) (TBC)

Saturday 25th September

Stuarts Point Community Day (TBC)
