Council's Libraries, Community and Cultural Development team is delivering NAIDOC exhibitions throughout the region.
This year's theme - The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, celebrates a powerful milestone: 50 years of honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience.
As we commemorate the 50-year milestone, we look forward, honouring the next generation who will carry the torch, shaping the future with courage, insight, and deep respect for our roots.
An exhibition of the iconic posters from all of the past NAIDOC weeks will be displayed in two locations, Yalawanyi Ganya, and Forster Civic Centre.
Thanks to Coastline funding, the Manning Regional Art Gallery will also host emerging Artist Keisha Mitchell with new works of Biripi Community members, Taking Our Ancestors' Dreams To The Future. The Coastline Bank Community Foundation is proud to support local Indigenous artists across the Manning, Hastings, and Macleay Valleys through a new scholarship initiative, coinciding with NAIDOC Week 2025
