As stated by Detective Inspector John Sutton, Waitemata Police:
Police are now in a position to release the name of the man who died following an incident at Auckland Prison yesterday.
He was Blake John Lee, aged 25, of Rotorua.
Our homicide investigation is ongoing and we are not in a position to comment further at this time.
Our thoughts are with Mr Lee's family at this difficult time.
