Police are now in a position to release the name of the person who died in a workplace accident in Ōtāhuhu on Monday.
He was Shaldin Joyce, aged 16, of Auckland.
Our sympathies are with his family during this difficult time.
His family have asked Police to pass on a message that they do not wish to be contacted by the media, as they want to grieve their loss in private.
