National Farm Safety Week: Drone Safety Reminder Issued

Civil Aviation Safety Authority

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) wants to remind all agricultural operators about the drone safety rules during National Farm Safety Week.

In Australia, drones are increasingly being used to carry out agricultural operations such as crop monitoring and spraying, livestock management and land surveying.

While the use of drones can deliver improved efficiency and reduced costs, it's important that operators know the rules before they fly.
