National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity to meet 18 January

to discuss the draft report of the NSABB Working Groups to Review and Evaluate the U.S. Government Potential Pandemic Pathogen Care and Oversight (PC3O) and Dual Use Research of Concern (DURC) Policies. The draft report will be posted on the NSABB website ahead of the meeting. Members of the public may provide comments on the draft report at the meeting or submit comments in writing.

The NSABB is a federal advisory committee chartered to provide, advice, guidance, and recommendations to the U.S. government regarding potential biosecurity implications of life sciences research, an issue of paramount importance to the Department of Health and Human Services, the National Institutes of Health, and the broader U.S. government.
