At the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum on Tuesday (7 July 2026), the NATO Communications and Information Agency signed a contract with Accenture for the Protected Business Network (PBN), marking a key step in delivering NATO's secure, cloud-enabled digital enterprise. The PBN establishes the foundation for classified digital operations across NATO. "Today's contract is a step change in NATO's continuing digital transformation," said Jean-Charles Ellermann-Kingombe, NATO's Assistant Secretary General for Cyber and Digital Transformation, "Our new, robust, interoperable transatlantic cloud architecture allows Allies to take decisions and operate together more quickly and more securely than ever."
