Nats' Steak Sangas Back For Agquip

NSW Nationals

The popular NSW Nationals steak sandwich fundraiser has returned at this year's AgQuip agricultural field day near Gunnedah.

Nationals Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said the pollies will be picking up the tongs for a good cause.

"AgQuip is the highlight of the NSW agricultural calendar, and a major boost to the Gunnedah community who benefit from the 100,000 visitors who make their way to the region," Mr Anderson said.

"It's an opportunity for our farmers to reconnect, to share ideas, and to stay up to date with the cutting edge of farming technology.

"The event goes hand in hand with the sights and smells of a steak sandwich, with breeders battling it out to be the most popular sandwich of the week.

"This year, the National Party are throwing our hats back in the ring, offering our famous steak sandwiches, cooked by Nationals MPs."

This year, Mr Anderson will be joined by Federal Leader of the Nationals David Littleproud, State Leader Dugald Saunders, as well as Jamie Chaffey, Barnaby Joyce, Ross Cadell, Kevin Hogan, Bridget McKenzie, Dave Layzell, Michael Kemp, Sarah Mitchell, and Scott Barrett.

"It's all for a good cause, helping raise funds for Gunnedah Family Support, who look after those in need.

"The steaks have again been donated by Teys Australia Tamworth, who are proud to continue their involvement in our AgQuip fundraising drive.

"I'm looking forward to another successful AgQuip for 2024 and hope to see plenty of locals soaking up the atmosphere."

The Nationals will be at site J-24 all day every day of AgQuip, with steak sandwiches available from midday.
