NAVFAC Washington Awards Construction Contract for Wargaming Center at Marine Corps Base Quantico

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Washington has awarded a $78,981,000 firm-fixed-price construction contract to Clark Construction Group, LLC of Bethesda, Md. for construction of the Wargaming Center at Marine Corps Base Quantico.

The contract also contains one unexercised option, which if exercised would increase cumulative contract value to $81,265,250.

The work to be performed consists of construction of a new two-story academic instruction facility to support the Wargaming function at Marine Corps Base Quantico. The project also consists of construction of a multi-story parking structure and a new single-story Area Distribution Node to support the academic instruction facility, along with replacement of the Cinder City Switching Station.

Work will be performed in Quantico, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 2023.
